Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari and his Vice President Yemi Osinbajo have been sworn in for a second term in office on Wednesday 29th May 2019 at the Eagle Square in Abuja.

Buhari and Osibanjo took the oath of office at exactly 10 :15 am and was administered by the acting Chief Justice of Nigeria ; ” Justice Tanko Mohammed ” 

President Buhari won the 2019 Presidential as declared on February 27 , by the Independent National Electoral Commission .

The Returning Officer for the 2019 presidential elections , Prof . Mahmood Yakubu , made the declaration .

Buhari , the candidate of the All Progressives Congress polled 15 , 191 ,847 votes to defeat his strongest contender, Nigeria’s former Vice President Atiku Abubakar of Peoples Democratic Party , who had 11 ,262 ,978 votes.

President Buhari and his Vice president Yemi Osibanjo were first inaugurated on May 29 , 2015, which was remarkably the first time in the history Nigeria that an opposition candidate was took over from an incumbent President ; Goodluck Ebere Jonathan 

The 2019 presidential inauguration , witnessed the wonderful military parade which received the service chiefs , CJN , Vice President and President as they entered the venue. 

President Buhari and his Vice; Osinabjo were accompanied by their beautiful wives ; Aisha Buhari and Dolapo Osinbajo .

Buhari , Osibanjo second term inauguration was massively attended by the former and serving state governors ,

Service chiefs , members of the diplomatic corps , members of the Federal Executive Council , Senate President , Speaker of the House of Representatives , Secretary to the Government of the Federation , Head of Civil Service of the Federation and captains of industry .

Adams Oshiomhole , the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress and other party chieftains were also present.

Le président nigérian, Muhammadu Buhari, et son vice-président, Yemi Osinbajo, ont été assermentés pour un second mandat le mercredi 29 mai 2019 à Eagle Square à Abuja.

Buhari et Osibanjo ont prêté serment à 10 h 15 précises sous l’autorité du Président de la Cour suprême du Nigéria; “Justice Tanko Mohammed”

Le Président Buhari a remporté la présidentielle de 2019 annoncée le 27 février par la Commission électorale nationale indépendante.

Le directeur du scrutin pour les élections présidentielles de 2019, le prof. Mahmood Yakubu, a fait la déclaration.

Buhari, le candidat du All Progressives Congress, a recueilli 15, 191, 847 voix pour défaire son principal candidat, l’ancien vice-président du Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, du Parti populaire démocratique, qui avait obtenu 11 262 978 voix.

Le président Buhari et sa vice-présidente, Yemi Osibanjo, ont été inaugurés le 29 mai 2015, ce qui était remarquablement la première fois dans l’histoire du Nigéria qu’un candidat de l’opposition succédait à un président en exercice.

L’inauguration présidentielle de 2019 a été témoin du magnifique défilé militaire auquel ont assisté les chefs de service, CJN, le vice-président et le président lors de leur entrée dans la salle.

Le président Buhari et son vice; Osinabjo étaient accompagnés de leurs belles épouses; Aisha Buhari et Dolapo Osinbajo.

Buhari, Osibanjo lors de l’inauguration du deuxième mandat, a réuni un grand nombre de membres, les gouverneurs des États et les autres

Chefs de service, membres du corps diplomatique, membres du Conseil exécutif fédéral, président du Sénat, président de la Chambre des représentants, secrétaire du gouvernement de la Fédération, chef de la fonction publique de la Fédération et capitaines d’industrie.

Adams Oshiomhole, le président national du congrès All Progressives et d’autres chefs de parti étaient également présents.
