PDP’s Nyesom Wike Invites Tinubu To Commission Projects In River State
Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has invited President-elect Bola Tinubu to Rivers State to inaugurate a project. This was disclosed by the governor during an interview with journalists in Port Harcourt.
The governor stated that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won the state’s 18 March governorship election because his administration has served the people well. Wike stated, “There are areas where you know this party will win, areas where you know this party will likely win, and areas where you know it will be difficult.”
“Every day we campaign, commission, and inaugurate projects, and you believe the public is blind. Yesterday, I inspected two flyovers that I’ve invited the incoming president to visit and dedicate. Yes, I am inviting the incoming president.”
Wike stated that his administration will inaugurate and launch a number of projects before he leaves office on May 29.
“By Monday of the following week, we will begin commissioning another round of projects,” Wike said, adding that the people of the state have faith in his administration’s ability to keep its promises.
