Manchester City has beaten the lead leaders Arsenal by 4-1 to control of the title race. Arsenal had already lost 6 pints in three consecutive games recording three draws.

This was the first time in over two years Arsenal have dropped points in four-straight games and they have picked the worst possible time for their title bid to fall apart.

From minute one the Etihad Stadium was purring as the home fans salivated and City totally overwhelmed Arsenal.

Kevin de Bruyne scored City’s first goal in the 7th minute and third goal in the 54th minute of the game either as  Erling Haaland assisted on both.

John Stones added a crucial header as the second goal before the break  (Stones goal was flagged as an offside but was restored by the VAR) while Rob Holding’s late goal was nothing more than a consolation in the 86 minute as assisted by Trossard. Haaland sealed it up with his stoppage time-goal to make it 4-1 with the assist coming from Foden.
