What is the new format of UEFA Champions League 2024 25?
Before, participating teams played six games in the group stage, facing each opponent home and away. Now clubs will each have eight games. The 36 teams will be split into four seeded pots of nine. Every club will play two teams from each pot, one at home and one away.
We will witness a rematch of five of the last seven UCL finals in this season new format Champions League!
The primary change is that 32 teams will no longer compete in eight groups of four during the group stages. Instead, the opening round will be an expanded 36-team stage in which the teams participate in a single league. Each team will play eight matches against eight different clubs, four at home and four away
