The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, President Muhammadu Buhari, has defeated the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in his (Buhari’s) polling unit in Daura.

The APC candidate garnered a total of 523 votes while his main rival scored three (3) votes at polling unit, PU003 at Sarkin Yara ward A, in Daura, Katsina.

Recall that Buhari had optimistically said earlier that he would congratulate himself, stressing that he would win the election.

Le président du congrès All Progressives (APC) , le président Muhammadu Buhari, a vaincu le candidat du Parti démocratique du peuple, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, dans son bureau de vote  à Daura.

Le candidat de l’APC (Buhari)  a recueilli un total de 523 voix, tandis que son principal rival (Atiku) avait recueilli trois (3) voix dans l’unité de vote, PU003, dans le quartier A de Sarkin Yara, à Daura, Katsina.

Rappelons que Buhari avait dit avec optimisme plus tôt qu’il se féliciterait, soulignant qu’il gagnerait les élections.
