A Nigeria former vice- President , Atiku Abubakar , has emerged the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP ) presidential candidate for the 2019 election. 

Ifeanyi Okowa who is the Chairman of the PDP Convention Committee and Governor of Delta State , announced the results of the primary on Sunday morning . 

He said Atiku polled 1,532 votes ,

while Aminu Tambuwal polled 693 votes to place second .

Un ancien vice-président du Nigéria, Atiku Abubakar, est devenu le candidat à la présidence du Parti démocratique du peuple (PDP) aux élections de 2019.

Ifeanyi Okowa, président du comité de la convention PDP et gouverneur de l’État du Delta, a annoncé les résultats de la primaire dimanche matin.

Il a dit qu’Atiku avait recueilli 1532 voix,

tandis qu’Aminu Tambuwal a recueilli 693 voix pour se classer deuxième
